Notions de base
Le néerlandais est très similaire à l'allemand — de nombreux mots sont immédiatement reconnaissables (Huis = maison, Boek = livre, Kerk = église). Cependant, la prononciation demande un certain temps d'adaptation : le fameux « g » (un son guttural comme en suisse allemand) et le « ij » (qui sonne comme un long « ei ») sont les plus grands obstacles.
